  • We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Lead to standardise, support and evolve the organisation's use of Jira Software, Jira Service Management Confluence and Slack (Project Collaboration Toolset).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, review, and document current functionality to determine areas of improvement
  • Lead and deliver upon best practice approaches and structured usage for the Project Collaboration Toolset platforms
  • Create and maintain user guidance
  • Develop new workflows, dashboards, fields, bots, etc., to support delivery within the organisation
  • Manage user permissions for the Project Collaboration Toolset according to the needs of the delivery teams
  • Support and mature the use of Slack inclusive of bots, apps and integrations across the project and into operation
  • Lead on the migration of Jira Service Desk, Jira Software & Confluence from server to cloud
  • Review and feedback on any technical proposals related to the Project Collaboration Toolset
  • Test new versions of the tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility
  • Proactively support on the install, trial and deployment of plug-ins, add-ins and integrations across the Project Collaboration Toolset
  • Research and utilise industry standard methods and techniques
  • Maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and users
  • Work with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, and JIRA administration
  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs
  • Communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels (Including playbook development)
  • Provide technical input into developing the product backlog and collaboratively feed into planning sessions with the rest of the delivery teams
  • Support and maintain the Project Collaboration Toolset
  • Actively train and upskill colleagues to provide support
  • Provide guidance and strategy on integrating the Project Collaboration Toolset to provide maximum value in automation of process, workflow as well as reporting and metrics
  • Deploy and enhance the guidance and strategy created

The role holder will need to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to accommodate new and changing requirements
