The opportunity

Our client, a global digital media company is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their Agency Investment team which manages investment programs with the client's global media agencies. You will partner closely with both in market and centrally based sales teams, key leadership teams, as well as other cross functional groups to drive development of their global investment programs on every operational dimension. Your role will be to manage and develop education incentive programs in close partnership with Global Agency Sales teams and Business Education teams who offer the education content. You will use your exceptional analytical skills, leadership and understanding of the commercial interface to define new ways of measuring and offering value. You will derive insight from complex data to support the evolution of agency partnership programs and aid decision making. You will provide business critical analysis, ensure cross-functional alignment across partnership program goals and execution, and help teams activate strategic partnerships and new initiatives.

Core Responsibilities:

* Work closely with the other members of the Investment team and cross-functionally with in-market Sales teams, Business Education, Measurement/Metrics, Legal, Finance and Engineering teams to manage, develop and maximize the effectiveness of partnership programs.

* Own business performance analysis capabilities that drive deep understanding of the performance drivers and demonstrate program ROI and effectiveness.

* Reflect on the business and improve process, policies and efficiency. Ensure we have the best processes and tools for investment performance tracking and management

* Conduct complex analytical projects using internal and external data (eg revenue, product, market, industry) to derive insights that will drive program development and decision making

* Engage with external partners to gather and further external data to help build our approach

* Support the agency investment team coordinating and leading cross-regional analysis (eg strategic modelling, quarterly business reviews, competitive analysis, revenue performance reviews and revenue forecasting)

* Evaluate, structure and guide market deal proposals and drive efficient processes for teams to execute successful partnership frameworks and media agreements in market

* Once design is signed off, partner with local, regional and global sales and other XFN partners to take partnership initiatives to market and drive program success.

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BSc required in an analytical field (eg Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Economics or related field) from a leading university

* 10+ years of work experience required in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy Consulting. Media Agency and/or Tech experience would be a definite plus

* Advanced excel skills are essential (eg high comfort level consolidating and joining large data sets)

* Excellent knowledge of SQL required, with a strong aptitude to learn new data systems that will help the candidate to perform heavier analysis

* Consultative and quantitative/analytical skills. Ability to show data and analysis in an interesting and compelling way.

* Proven experience to drive performance and commercial arguments through data with senior stakeholders

* Strong team working and people skills, as this is a highly cross-functional role

* Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's/MBA from top institutions

* Operational Excellence/Six Sigma Background

* Strong team working and influencing skills.

* Proven experience in the media or technology industries (specifically digital media) is preferable.

* Experience managing virtual/remote project teams
