Development Team Coach (iOS/Android App Development)
Our client is a multinational professional services firm that is supporting a major transformation for an internationally recognised brand in the Travel & Transport sector. They are building several Mobile Applications on iOS/Android to drive their business to customers around the world and need a hands on, energetic Development Coach that can mentor and improve an established team of Software Developers by applying the latest Agile techniques.
Suitable professionals will have a mixture of the following skills and experience:
- Must be an empowering and energetic Coach with a good understanding of Agile and SAFe/Scaled Transformations
- Must have a proven technical track record in Software Development with experience of iOS and Android App Development
- Must have come from a technical software development route into Agile Coaching; someone who understands testing, coding and is able to test software craftmanship
- Must possess experience with BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development), TDD (Test-Driven Development), Continuous Integration and Refactoring
- Ability to lead teams through sprints, planning, team structure and also understand technical practices; must be hands on when required.
- Must have detailed knowledge of end-to-end SDLC and Agile methodologies (inc RAD, JAD, Lean, RUP, XP, DSDM etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools (inc Jenkins, LARA, LISA, Puppet, Cucumber, Chef, Rally, Jira, Version One etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is highly desirable
- Experience supported by certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC)
- A strong consulting toolkit and have strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong academic background (BSc/MSc)
Rate: £550 - £600 per day
Length: 6 - 12 months (possible 2+ year engagement)
Base Location: Remote/Homeworking/London
