Solution Architect - Software & Applications | 4 month contract
Salt are excited to be partnered with a global marketplace business who are going through a huge digital transformation which has been accelerated due to the pandemic, and they are now looking for new Solution Architect's to join the business. Their digital transformation is all about using technology to develop and release new products to their customers, both B2B & B2C, and utilizing cloud technology.
As a Solution Architect you will be looking at business focused technology solutions to deliver business value and strategy. The main areas of focus will be delivering reference architecture's, solution design and patterns, user cases and enterprise technology design of their applications in the Cloud (Azure).
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for solution architecture and design to align with the business' IT strategy
Provide leadership via stakeholder management/engagement and working closely with the development teams to deliver projects/solutions
Reduce the timelines of delivery whilst focused on efficiencies and quality
Ensure architecture if designed and delivered appropriately against the business requirements and reporting back on progress to the business
Work with the development teams to make sure their work aligns with the solution design
Leading from the front in driving technology transformation
They're looking for someone who has:
Significant experience in senior Architectural roles, either Solution or Enterprise
Experience of or used a recognized architectural framework such as TOGAF
Great stakeholder management and engagement skills
Strong communications skills and confident in working with senior stakeholders
Understand software development life cycles
Experience in a B2B or B2C setting
A background in Microsoft software technology such as .NET, C#, SQL, Azure
