Nicoll Curtin Technology GmbH is working on behalf of a leading European Bank to source an IT Test Manager to join the Capital Markets (CM) team.The Test Manager will report directly to the QA manager to assist with the handling of the test static data and primarily ensure deliveries for Q2. After Q2 deliveries are made then scope will be expanded to managing data for additional stakeholders.
Your duties as Test Manager include:
• Update & maintain Static Data Management Strategy – CM has already has a strategy for managing the static test data, this needs to evolve and remain operational through governance done by the static data manager.
• Tailor possesses and templates to facilitate a smooth delivery of test data to stakeholders and to provide a standardized approach to managing data from multiple databases and different systems.
• Develop automated tools and/or approaches to test data management, to ensure optimal use of resources and facilitate smooth operation.
• Order test data - Identify required static data based on requests from projects and maintenance teams.
• Drive setup of static data – Make sure that the data is created by following up on status and progress on requests for static data.
• Ensure that test data is ready due in time before start of test.
• Ensure overview of the system architecture with manually and automatically data flow
• Collect all information on necessary base line data
• Collect all information on identified test data
• Ensure implementation of base line data and test data in due time for test execution – manually and automatic based data
The ideal Test Manager candidate will have the following skills:
• Test Management skills – Basic level at a minimum, ISEB/ISTQB certification or similar preferred.
• Test Data Management & Environment Management experience.
• SQL on a very high level – Test Manager Candidate must be able to write and maintain complex SQL scripts for data reporting and maintenance.
• Data analysis tool experience – Test Manager Candidate must have experience with TOAD or similar data analysis tool.
• Structured and result oriented – Managing this test data globally in CM is a complex task, meaning that structure and timeliness is key to success.
