Cloud Security Architect
£615 per day (umbrella only)
Fully remote
3 month initial contract - Excellent Longevity
We are looking for several Cloud Security Architects to join our banking client. The role has architectural & engineering aspects within Cloud Security Engineering in the design and delivery of security services across the organisation's Google Cloud Platform environment, with accountability for a range of deliverables across both Security 'build' and 'run'.
Responsibilities & Experience
- SME accountability for core security control framework components & services (GCP)
- Manage senior level engagement into the business portfolio
- Represent Security at localised governance forums
- Ratify the risk rating and endorse the acceptance of risk in line with risk guiderails
- Experience supporting major programmes and other project based activities
- In-depth technical knowledge of public cloud/API based environment/architectures (ideally GCP, but AWS/Azure also advantageous)
- Technical 'hands on' background in Cloud, DevOps & Cyber Security
- Knowledge of core DevOps & Agile principles
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure-as-code based environments
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Python
- Ideally experience of Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Ideally experience with micro-service (container) based Kubernetes (GKE) environments
