Trade Floor Application Support Analyst
We are seeking an Trade Floor Application Support Analyst to join JP Morgan on an initial 12 months contract in London. You should have recent experience of working in an Application Support position working closely with front office trading staff.
*Due to the pandemic, you will be required to work remotely, using your own device, until further notice. Once safe to do so you will likely attend the office 2 -3 days per week or possibly 1 week in 1 week remote.*
Responsibilities:
- Providing Real Time application support to Credit Trading, Middle Office, Production Control & Operations in EMEA
- Monitoring of production environment using existing tools, and responsibilities to iteratively enhance monitoring capabilities through scripting, configuration of tools (eg Geneos, Splunk, DynaTrace) etc.
- Incident management, including technical troubleshooting and stakeholder communications
- Root cause analysis of incidents, including documentation and capture of incidents and follow-up actions
- Governance and oversight of technology platforms inline with firmwide standards (capacity/change management)
- Working with a diverse range of development teams to troubleshoot a wide variety of production problems coverage covering client connectivity, eTrading, algo trading, risk management and post-trade booking
- Partnering with colleagues in other locations to execute on strategic priorities of the team - potentially including Scripting projects and automation of manual toil)
- Coverage is provided on a shift basis 7am-7pm Mon-Fri. There is no expected overnight or weekend coverage requirement. Shifts are 7am - 3.30pm and 10am - 7pm
