IT Business Relationship Manager - ITIL - Government - Remote
As a BRM, you will support the Head of ITSM in developing and managing the technology roadmap for several lines of service. You will use your previous experience of IT engagement and relationship management to support business customers as they engage with the IT function. You will also act as the primary point of escalation for the line of service.
Duties
- Building strong stakeholder relationships within IT and facilitating discussions about risk and complexity, fostering a collaborative culture to support the team in delivering against the strategic roadmap, and actively addressing and identifying innovative ways to unblock issues
- Facilitating the demand management process and coaching senior stakeholders in the formation of requirements
- Supporting the Head of ITSM to prioritise demand and providing a view of strategic business needs
- Facilitating and coordinating the triage of demand across IT to establish the best route to meet the business needs
- Supporting the development and review of business cases and facilitating the IT Governance process
- Champion the voice of the customer and hold the IT Directorate to account
- Supporting continual planning processes, planning beyond product delivery, identifying dependencies in plans across services and coordinating delivery
- Communicating effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries, understanding the context, and successfully reacting and responding to challenge
Candidates must have a strong background within a BRM position.
