An exciting opportunity with our well-known client within the insurance sector for a Cloud Architect to start ASAP on a contract basis.
As the Cloud Architect you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Cloud Platform Architecture in delivering the cloud strategic roadmap to support business' Technology and Business Unit application teams as they continue to adopt cloud computing platforms.
Cloud Architect required skills:
- Fundamental and detailed understanding of modern public cloud platforms, primarily Microsoft Azure but knowledge of Oracle Cloud and Amazon AWS is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of at least 2 of the following: infrastructure, networking, security best practices, automation technologies, DevOps operating models
- Effective communication skills,
- Ideally experienced in working in a SCRUM/Agile approach
- Ability to work across multiple business areas globally and the ability to quickly understand the unique details of applications in different contexts
