IOT Architect - Freelance/Contract - Belgium
Robson Bale are looking for an IOT Architect for an initial 6 month contract in Belgium.

Responsibilities
- Translate architecture principles into detailed technical designs for native and hybrid cloud applications.
- Developing effective cloud infrastructure, enforcing good architectural principles, providing technical oversight, and ensuring security best practices are implemented and followed.
- Ability to quickly identify issues to specific Azure Services or the Azure Platform and being able to conduct in-depth diagnosis on Azure platform and services.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
Technical Skills
- You have several years of experience in designing applications in public cloud
- Hands on experience in cloud automation tools like Azure Devops and Helm for Kubernetes and deployment techniques like ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines and Helm templates
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture design, development, deployment and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of cloud patterns (Pub/Sub, DLQ).
- Decent experience with SQL and No SQL databases Postgres, CosmosDB, TimescaleDB and MongoDB.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong expertise in one of the following programming languages: .NET, Python, NodeJS or Golang.
- Strong Experience on Asp.NET Core web & REST API's and framework
- Strong Knowledge of REST API design, security and management tools like Azure API Management or Kong API.
- Knowledge of integrations with HTTPS and gRPC services
- Strong working experience on IoT projects on Azure Platform
- Experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS
- Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure
- Experience using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Nice to have Knowledge in web Front End framework like Angular 10 or ReactJS
- A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (eg TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks)
- Experience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology.
- Knowledge about various test method & corresponding tools like MS Test, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
- Able to perform Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, APIM, etc.
- Able to set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
