NV are urgently looking for an Oracle APPS DBA for a contract role based in Spain
Required Technical Skills:
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
Extensive knowledge and support experience of:
o Oracle Ebusiness Suite 12.1.x
o Oracle Dataguard
o Oracle RMAN
Experience with latest version of Oracle Enterprise Manager including installation, configuration, patching, upgrading and customization manager
Experience in automating database administration activities
Minimum of 5 years' Oracle EBUSINESS Suite administration experience
Minimum of 5 years' Oracle DBA experience
Minimum of 3 years MS Sqlserver DBA experience
The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
Experience with Ansible or other automation technologies
Experience with MS SSIS/SSAS/PowerBI technologies
Experience with EMC NAS (or similar) hosting Oracle databases
Familiarity with ITIL best practices
Knowledge of cloud computing technology
Required Soft Skills:
Willingness to learn on the job and adjust roles as required
Customer facing experience and good oral communication skills
Excellent knowledge of English (oral/written)
Ability to write documentation & reports
Creativity/ability to find innovative solutions
Support of a diverse workplace
Collaboration, teamwork, conflict management & cooperation
Work autonomously with virtual teams
Desirable certifications:
Oracle Database Administration certification
MS SQLSERVER DB certification
Azure certification
