Data Visualization Engineer - Remote working - 6 months
A Global IT Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Data Visualization to work on their financial customers Global Transformation Initiative.
Responsibilities for data visualization engineers include:
Designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards using complex datasets from different sources.
Implementing best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency for the best user experience.
Designing, writing, and testing analytics platform code.
Debugging applications, tracing code, and finding and fixing bugs.
Skills required:
3-5 years of experience with reporting/visualization tools
Knowledge and experience in some or all of the following reporting/visualization/analytics tools - Splunk; Devo, QlikView, PowerBI )
Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes, D3)
Knowledge of Distributed Server, IBMz, IBMi,Cloud technologies and SPLUNK, APPD is preferred
Agile principles and Scrum methodology
*Please note that at this stage, successful candidates will only be allowed to proceed via PAYE/Umbrella company due to IR35*
Fully remote, candidates must still be based in the UK.
