Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently looking to recruit eight User Researchers to join their team on initial six month contracts. The role can be based in either the clients Edinburgh or Glasgow office.
Main Duties:
- Execute a range of field and lab based user research types according to business and project needs.
- Manage user research tools and facilities.
- Facilitate the inclusion of different types of users in appropriate research activities.
- Advocate for accessibility, assisted digital, and inclusive design practices and help teams design and deliver accessible services that work for all users.
- Support teams to continually improve their understanding of and engagement with users.
- Provide actionable insights to support design decision making and write user needs and user stories.
- Manage ethics and consent processes, and support the development of privacy and equalities impact assessments.
This role has been deemed inside IR35 by the client, therefore the use of an Umbrella company is required. The rate on offer is £305/day. Applicants must hold, or have already applied for, a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland to be considered by the client. Please click the link to apply.
