Description
Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Network Engineer Consultant for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £300-£350/day (inside of IR35).
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring end to end QoS is deployed across the Network. Which will require engagement with 3rd party that manages the SWAN network.
Designing and implementing a standard build template for edge Switches. - Installation of new edge PoE Switches.
- Design and Implementing new voice subnets and VLANS.
- Configuring and implementing DHCP scopes.
- A technical point of contact, who is familiar with the requirements will be on hand to direct the work.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with Cisco infrastructure from 6500's to 9200's
Experience in deploying IPT in a corporate/public sector environment
Experience with implementing QoS over WAN and LAN infrastructure
Desirable Skills:
- Cisco certifications
- Experience with Solarwinds
