My client are a globally renowned asset management firm currently seeking a senior/lead developer to take project ownership within one of their teams. The successful candidate will lead the build-out of a single entry point solution. Part of this role will also be focused on maintenance and simplification of a BMD platform. The role involves a good mix of green-field and existing product development providing exposure to a variety of business demands and technologies.
The role involves leading solution design, development and quality assurance processes across all aspects of the software engineering life cycle. Mentoring junior members of the team and dealing with various stakeholders within the business is also a major part of the role.
Required skills (high proficiency):
- Sharepoint development (Sharepoint online)
- .net core
- React
- Angular
- Azure/Azure DevOps
- PowerBI
- Management of diverse technical teams and mentorship of junior members
Nice to have:
- Financial Services experience
- Octopus
- Good experience of agile working practices
- Experience with reporting tools
This role is predominantly Sharepoint-based, but good working experience of .NET core, React, Angular and Azure will be required to be successful.
