Description

My client a London based investment bank are looking for 2 Market Data/Trading Application Support Engineers to join their team based in the City of London

Maintain, Monitor and Develop Market Data and Dealing Systems (MDS) and its infrastructure for all EMEA branches.
Provide support and troubleshooting for all aspects of MDS Infrastructure and Applications used by the users across EMEA branches.
Liaise with other Technical teams (Server group, Network group, Application group, IT Security group, Voice group) to participate projects, AGC, packaging, UAT, Change Management and roll-out of new MDS products and software.
Manage upgrades for MDS Servers, infrastructure and applications.
Be aware of new products and services within the Market Data arena which may be of benefit to MDS users.
Ensure all managed MDS Servers and applications are updated, and the latest security patches are applied on a regular schedule.
Assist IT Security and Audit groups for MDS related queries.
Ensure Compliance requirements are met in MDS.
Administer IPC dealer board and recording systems.
Maintain System related In-House documentation

Required Experience
Good Intermediate level (2nd line support level) of Redhat server operating system
Experience with Infrastructure tasks related to TREP, Deal Tracker Suite (DTAA, DTA, DTS-TOF/DTF/DTFE/FIX), TRASA
Experience with Application tasks related to Thomson Reuters: FXT, Eikon, MCS, Compliance, Global Relay
Experience with dealing applications tasks relating to ICAP: EBS dealing, Brokertec, Yuniti
Experience with Infrastructure and application related tasks for Bloomberg: RFQ, Compliance, Data License, Scheduled feed
Experience with Application related tasks for FX dealing applications (ie. BARX, Autobahn, Citi Velocity, JP Morgan, Marquee Trader, 360T)
Some experience using SCCM, TeraTerm, PuTTY and RDC tools
