For reference, the typical work experience and educational background of candidates in this role are as follows:
5+ years working in Information Technology
3+ years working in a Cybersecurity a program within a mid to large enterprise or equivalent organization, with experience working in the Financial Services industry preferred.
Formal education and advanced degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar and/or commensurate demonstrated work experience in the same.
Technical Skills
Ability to understand complex system flows in order to document, visualize, and design solutions around those flows.
Competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint in order to conduct data analysis and present raw data in a simplified manner displaying trend analysis and highlighting outliers / exceptions.
Competency in Microsoft Visio or equivalent network/workflow visualization software
Experience with networking concepts in large, enterprise networks.
Financial services experience a plus.
Skills
Instinctive and creative, with an ability to put bespoke pieces or problems raised in silo, together.
Excellent analytical skills, that can be used to interpret large volume of IT Infrastructure and Network data.
Creation of dashboards that are consumable by internal business stakeholders and customers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports for targeted audiences across internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to obtain cross team consensus, in order to drive progress forward towards goals.
Manage queries and engagements from various stakeholder and teams.
