£17.90 to £19.65ph - Inside IR35

This role is Inside IR35 so applicants must be willing to engage via an Umbrella Company.

DBS Disclosure is required for this role.

Job Purpose

  • Provide a flexible and responsive performance reporting and analysis service that enriches the understanding of service performance and quality of delivery across Client's services
  • Provide analysis of statistical and business data and information
  • Ensure effective and efficient systems and methods for the timely collection, processing and dissemination in accordance with legislative requirements and relevant statistical Codes of Practice.
  • Assist managers in reporting research and statistical analysis information findings to internal and external stakeholders via a variety of formats, including written reports, presentations and digital media as appropriate, ensuring that the information is accessible and appropriate to the audience.
  • Ensure routine reporting work within required standards and timescales, such as youth justice
  • Support sourcing, compiling and analysing accurate and up to date information to provide an evidence base for commissioning, service provision, management information and performance management to support continued improvement and outstanding services.
  • Ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies.
  • To analyse information and data to identify and predict trends and analyse comparisons.

Responsibilities

  • Source, compile and analyse data in order to produce and present reports in compliance with client strategy and policy eg the balanced score card and statutory and regulatory returns, and for use at relevant partnership boards.
  • Support internal and external customers in their use of information and ensure that information requests are met in a timely way.
  • Contribute to the completion and timely submission of statutory, regulatory and census returns.
  • Support and encourage the delivery of the best quality records. Audit data quality of information reports and produce audit lists for submitted returns.
  • Work with partners to develop agreed policies related to sharing information to ensure consistency of data.
  • Develop locally defined reports for planning and performance management to support teams including locality profiles, analysis and mapping in order to plan services and measure their success.
  • Offer support, training and guidance to customers in an efficient and effective way on data related topics to ensure they are able to use and understand the information provided.
  • Co-ordinate the process of data collection and reporting in relation to key surveys and provide detailed feedback.
  • Maintain awareness of changing government guidance, client's structures and other key factors in order to amend reports and databases as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the Client's Performance and Information data team and external data teams to provide a holistic data picture in line with service delivery needs.
  • Support the development of databases that improve the efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of information.
  • To supervise the collection, processing and entry of data into the Client's information management systems and databases ensuring accuracy and security of data and compliance with statutory requirements
  • To monitor, report and analyse data to support statutory returns and quarterly reporting requirements.
  • To provide quarterly reports and an annual report to Partnership Board
  • To ensure that electronic and manual storage systems are used effectively and efficiently and with due regard to traceability, security and confidentiality
  • To develop and manage systems and administrative process to ensure the efficient operation of the office and support management reporting (this will include recording and monitoring service processes such as establishment reviews, appraisals, health & safety reviews and absence data)
  • To support information requests including freedom of information and media requests as required

Skills

  • Maths A' level or equivalent level 3 qualification - Qualifications in related areas such as statics and/or research
  • Good knowledge of databases and their specification
