Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: London, UK
Type: Contract role (Inside Ir35)
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
- Bring thought leadership in a specific Area of Specialization of Data Science
- Collaborate with business users to assess and elaborate Analytics Uses cases
- Understand the business requirements and provide a solution by using machine learning, artificial intelligence, optimization etc.
- Lead the Data Science experimentation during solution development in projects
- Monitor latest developments in their Area of Specialization and run Proof-of-concepts in application of new models in solutions
- Python programming, including knowledge of pandas, numpy, Jupyter.
- Ability to write production ready, highly reliable, tuned (pythonic) numerical code
- Strong analytical, reasoning and mathematical skills.
- Communicate & effectively present data-derived insights to non-technical audiences
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mandatory skills*
- Good experience in Statistical Analysis, Machine Learning/Data Science
- Excellent Python skills (Pandas, numpy, Scikit Learn, Matplotlib, Jupyter)
- Cloud experience in Azure Machine Learning or AWS Sage Maker or GCP AI Platform
- Bachelor Degree in either Mathematics, Statistics, Science or Engineering disciplines
Good to have skills:
- Deep Learning Methodologies
- Version Control (GitHub, GitLab, DVC etc.)
- Agile project experience
