Programme Manager
Cambridge
3 Month contract
£25.54 PAYE/£33.20ph umbrella (x37 hours = £188.99 PAYE or £245.68 UMB)
Advantage Resourcing are keen to speak with Programme Manager's in relation to a 3 month contract with a government department in Cambridgeshire.
You will be tasked to drive the delivery of projects within the Adult Social Care (ASC) directorate, ensuring that they deliver the required outcomes on time and to budget. The ASC programme cover a range of areas including technology and service delivery transformation, but are all ultimately about changing ways of working, changing relationships and behaviours, and improving outcomes for our communities.
We are looking for a Programme Manager who:
. Has the experience and ability to manage programme definition, design and delivery of one of the transformation programmes
. Strong organisational and business change skills - to ensure high quality governance, planning, reporting and financial monitoring arrangements are in place
. Experience of facilitating service design and or business change activity
. Excellent communication and influencing skills - with experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders; driving forward programme delivery and providing constructive challenge
. "Hands on" programme management experience - with the ability to develop high quality briefs and business cases, proactively manage risks and issues and works with the business to support benefits realisation
. Formal training and accreditation in programme management would be desirable but is not essential.
. Experience and/or knowledge of Local Authority services and an interest in social, educational and community services would be desirable, but again - not essential (we are not looking for subject matter experts).
