Account Manager with Public Sector experience, 415/day outside IR35, 9 monthsLocation: the client has offices in London and Milton Keynes. Expect occasional site visits, but the role can be carried out remotely.

Our public sector client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to work within a growing department that delivers services globally. Previous experience of working in the public sector is essential.
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for maximising existing opportunities, developing pricing and proposals, agreeing contracts for existing customers (including negotiating TC's), ensuring Purchase Orders are executed and working with the wider Logistics and account management reams to identify opportunities for further market expansion.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge required:
Significant Business Development experience is essential.
Experience of working collaboratively across various departments, within a complex organisation.
An understanding/experience of sales planning, the business cycle, relationship management and various finance functions/processes which support a business.
Knowledge of the Logistics market within Public Sector is desirable.
Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills with the ability to organise and prioritise work to achieve deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of relationship building at all levels.
