Job Title: Manhattan WMS consultant
Location: Peterborough, UK
Type: Contract role (Inside Ir35)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- DC based support using Manhattan Associated Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Direct, Retail and Wholesale systems support.
- Ability to identify issues and work with team to resolve issues.
- Researching and troubleshooting procedure and software related issues.
- Systems include but not limited to: Warehouse Management System (WMS- AS400), Labour Management (LM), AL Systems, and automated solution software's.
- Responsible for multiple projects, demonstrating high levels of accountability Analyse requests from operational teams to measure effectiveness against Standard Operating Model.
- Create documentation for training on software interfaces and reporting databases.
- Aid with activities and projects for configuration/upgrade changes to existing DC software.
- Perform quality assurance testing for new releases and upgrades, as well as any other required changes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Previous experience in a distribution/warehousing environment, ideally gained in a fashion/lifestyle or FMCG environment
- A strong understanding of logistics interaction between systems, processes, operations, transportation and order management.
- Experience with WM/PkMS, MS Office
- Organisational, time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and good judgment
- Able to work within a team environment and support the DC culture.
