Azure Cloud Engineer
PLEASE NOTE: This contract is Inside IR35.
A leading global client are looking for an Azure Cloud Project Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be mostly remote working but the individual will be required in the office from time to time when the project dictates.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on creating a strategy for establishing a secure and well-managed enterprise environment in Azure
- Technical project resource, implementation engineer
- Configure and manage the Virtual Network in Azure
- Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
- Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for Azure
- Understand current and emerging security threats
Required Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS
- Extensive experience delivering Microsoft Azure migrations (IaaS solutions.) and setting up and working with ARM templates.
- Hands on experience using the Azure administration portal
- Demonstrable experience deploying enterprise workloads to Azure
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other Scripting languages
- Experienced in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, procedures, and roles.
- Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
