Social Media Monitoring Officer, social media platforms, Dynamic, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Brandwatch, stakeholders, 2 months, ?16.37 per hour Titchfield.* This role will be remote during COVID, and falls Outside IR35.*
Were recruiting digital professionals to join our clients expanding team working on social media 2021 digital campaign. You will be dynamic and keen to use digital media to engage with a diverse audience across England and Wales as well as evaluate and regularly report on social media performance.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, proofing and publishing social media content
- Review and report content on social media channel that falls into the category of misinformation, disinformation and fake new
- Creation of social media accounts to be used by the staff at a local level
- Setting up and using appropriate analytics packages such as Brandwatch and Hootsuite to monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media channels being used to promote the client at a local level across England and Wales
- Support Local Engagement Officers in overseeing the use of social media at a local level, particularly in relation to key population groups and diverse communities
- Respond to comments and enquiries on social media as required
- Evaluate plans and reports using social media at a local level
- Recommend actions to improve social content performance
- Supporting social media team administration such as managing contact lists and files
- Ongoing research eg best practice, insights, social media trends
- As a member of the Communications team, contribute to the continual development of the division and cross-division working
- Work with stakeholders to improve the effectiveness and reach of messagesEssential criteria:
- Demonstrable experience and detailed understanding of social media platforms in a professional capacity, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
- Experience of using social media scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, TweetDeck and Brandwatch
- Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively to achieve shared outcomes
- Ability to analyse and clearly present data and information to a range of audiences
- Experience of creating quality content for social channels
- Good communication skills, including good written English
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of working on successful social media engagement campaigns
- Practical experience of using digital content creation and production tools, such as Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop or InDesign, GIF makers
