Description:
- Responsible for analysing, implementing and testing application/database functionality as directed
- Maintaining the application and Back Office systems
- Effectively delivering the functional aspects of website applications
- Developing web applications
- SQL Server, knowledge of writing stored procedures
Overview of the role
This role is for a developer in an agile software development team.
The team is working on a software project to build a geospatial system.
Programming is done in C#, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and SQL.
Fundamental Tasks
- Code and test in C#, Python and JavaScript;
- Adapt and learn new technologies as required (eg GeoSpatial systems).
Minimum Requirement:
- Strong experience in C# and JavaScript.
- A broad range of experience, evidencing the ability to learn new languages and frameworks
- Strong core engineering skills (continuous delivery, automated testing)
- British citizen + continuous resident in UK for 10 years + willing to undergo DV clearance on start.
