My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investors owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable, and safe manner.
The Role:
Our Client is currently running a Major project enabling green energy, This project is currently in development working towards a development consent order (DCO), they are looking at building 2 new substations and new overhead lines builds and strengthening other over headline routes and cabling, They currently require a Project Engineer with a strong project management skill set ideally with over headline/cabling experience of constructing but also have the ability to step into a DCO project. Assisting LPM with managing any additional DCO work packages and able to assist engineering leads with reviewing documents and plans to ensure proposals consider construction.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Project Engineer holding/having; TP144 authorisation to lean and manage site visits and additional works within construction
Strong Project Management skills
Experience of delivering Over Headlines and Cabling
Development consent order experience
Develop Construction Programme for allocated work packages
Develop Risk Register for allocated work packages
Assist LPM with developing procurement strategy and review possible innovations.
Attend and contribute to Design and Hazard Review Meetings
