Infrastructure Project Manager - 3rd line support - Hands-on - Contract - Remote
Robson Bale are looking for a Hands-on Infrastructure Project Manager to come on board for an initial 10-month remote contract, based out of Prague.
10 months, €300pd
100% Remote
This is a hybrid role and requires real hands-on technical experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage the Office Productivity Solution, Global Print Solution, and Global Software Manager Solution
- Participate on projects relating to various solutions including:
- Preparing the update of Office from 2008 to 2018
- Switching from Project Online Desktop client to Project for the Web
- Migrating print environment form Datacentre to AWS
- Implementing Ysoft 6 client
- Implementing ServiceNow interface
- Define and update the global standard and the global software catalogue.
- Contribute to Incident, Change and Knowledge Management
- Provide 3rd level support for various software including but not limited to MS365 Apps for Enterprise, OneDrive, Project, and Visio
- Act as the contact person for Microsoft support
- When needed, act as the contact person for the support of Adobe, SnagIt, MiniTab, ThinkCell, and Brandic
- Manage both internal and external vendors.
- Own the life cycle for various technology (ensure regular updates on client, ensure license coverage)
- Manage the regional coordination in case of any change or planned update
- Demand management (new add-ins for Office, change in settings )
- Ensure early identification of changes in technology which must be communicated to end-users
- Coordinate with Identity and Access management to automate subscription assignment in Office 365 or Adobe portal
- Monitor license usage and actively manage existing licenses and installations (SW Metering, license extension)
- Support the package process for new or to be updated SW (M391 in SNOW)
- Identify Business owner, analyse the potential of making SW global instead of local contracts
- Build and run end-user surveys for non-measurable software
Requirements
- Extensive experience and knowledge of MS365 Apps for Enterprise
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 Productivity Applications, OneDrive, Project, and Visio is necessary
- Expert in Office client technology (installs, updates, remove, How-To)
- Good understanding of Microsoft license systems (E3, F3, standalone license, implications, restrictions, etc.)
- Previous experience in IT Project Management with a track record of successfully completing projects on time and in budget
- Experience with vendor management
- Experience with Konica Minolta Hardware and Ysoft 6 Back End and client
- Experience supporting and knowledge with ThinkCell, Adobe, Snaglt, MiniTab, Brandic, and OneIdentity is an desired
