UK clients include FTSE 100 & 250 businesses spanning industries such as Retail, Telecoms, Energy and Media. Our client is looking for an IT operations consultant to support the CTO and reshape the business. The ideal candidate would have a history of working in the wealth management space and understand the compliance and structure needed for this sector.

They aim to increase capital flows to underdeveloped markets, so countries can finance their own way out of poverty. They focus on less-developed or fragile markets and on sectors most important for economic growth.
The Role
The CTO is looking for someone who has strong leadership and a background in the financial sector with the skills and experience to really own the IT design process to bring the business up to date and future proof their IT operation. The successful candidate will need to be able to define the IT infrastructure, IT operations model and build the roadmap to support the overall IT strategy.
The CTO wants someone that can support them in creating the operational model and have the gravitas to independently lead and define the design. The Operation consultant needs to articulate the business case to board level and defend why that direction is right for the business through experience and analysing the current company data.
You must have a background in the right balance' of IT insourcing and outsourcing with the experience to redetermine what is right for the business so the ability to determine suppliers is essential.
The client wants someone that's a level above the delivery phase of IT Operations (which is next) and needs someone with a holistic view of what needs to be done in the business and how to do it.
