Solutions Architect- Estates, REST/SOAP, TOGAF

Solutions Architect with experience of delivering enterprise solutions across applications architectures with experience of integrations using a variety of protocols (REST/SOAP) is needed to lead on the overall design and technical architecture for a Higher Education clients estates portfolio.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for design and architecture of the technology platform, gathering and refining business requirements from stakeholders to understand the business drivers and departmental needs.

Solutions Architect- Estates, REST/SOAP, TOGAF- Essential Experience

  • Experience of delivering enterprise solutions for large organisations, with a solid background in Application Architecture/solutions design.
  • Experience of integrations using a variety of protocols (REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of information management practices (information life cycle management, Datamodelling, master data management and carrying out business audits/requirements)
  • Ability to lean design across complex business functions with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to deliver engaging workshop to elicit requirements and develop solution designs.
  • Knowledge of risks in solution architecture and technology solutions

Solutions Architect- Estates, REST/SOAP, TOGAF- Desirable Experience

  • Experience of data management systems (Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores and ETL) that include (data models, data flows and coverage of all required data, and implementing data governance)
  • Experience of leading solution design in a Product orientated Agile Delivery Framework
  • Experience or qualifications within TOGAF or equivalent framework
  • Experience of working in Estates & Facilities Management or Asset Management environment
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector.
  • Experience of writing business cases and developing reports to Programme Boards and Senior Management would be advantageous
