Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to start ASAP on a 3 month contrat (with a view to extend thereafter). You must have solid experience in Linux RedHat and SaltStack (Essential). Any experience within the Cyber security space including server hardening would be ideal.
- Solid knowledge of Linux. Hands on experience to a Sys Admin level with RedHat 6 & 7, CentOS 6 & 7 and SLES 11. Some experience with RHEL 8 advantageous.
- Highly proficient with SaltStack and experienced with automation.
- Highly proficient with Ansible and experience with automation.
- Knowledge of Git, GitLab and working with Git Repositories.
- Ability to write code in YAML (SaltStack) for highstates and other functional states to rollout Cisco AMP and Remote Syslog Exabeam DataLake configuration to the entire Linux estate.
- Understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and ability to work with stakeholders.
- Ability to create Gap Analyses and work with the CAB Change structure (supported in Remedy).
- Experience with compliance and CIS guidelines and standards.
- Experience in Networking and Firewalls specifically on the Linux OS-side. Experience with firewalld/iptables.
