Senior Python Engineer
Senior Python Engineer is required to join a data function for a leading financial services organisation. This team is looking for a Senior Python Engineer with strong experience of best development practices. The team are working with the latest Data engineering and machine learning techniques to improve aspects of the business.
The Job
You will be joining an expanding team of around 33 (mix of engineers and data scientists) that are managing and are responsible for developing machine learning solutions that have a commercial impact on the business.
The Senior Python Engineer will provide leadership around best development practices and emerging python techniques to help deliver practical solutions.
They are a very fast-paced team working on exciting technologies where you will be part of a team that have a lot of autonomy and can choose what they work on.
The team requires someone with expert knowledge of Python and software engineering practices to help them improve their quality of work. The role will involve code refactoring, rearchitecting, upskilling, workshops and advising on how to optimise code.
The successful candidate must have the following essential experience:
- Expert Python Knowledge
- Software Engineering practices
- Knowledge of Data science life cycle
- Experience CI/CD tools
