Information Analyst - Clinical/NHS environmentCirca £300 per day Outside ir35
Duration - 3 months initially
Fully Remote
Must have strong ACUTE experience. Extensive knowledge of Urgent care, RTT, diagnostics, cancer.
Key Focus
- Task and code management for each core domain (Activity, Referrals, Theatre, Waits, etc).
- Extraction, transformation, and modelling.
- Reporting and visualisations.
- Integration into national return processes.
- Validation and assurance.
- Advanced analytics and performance analysis.
- Reacting to any changes to national requirements.
- Supporting data assurance workstreams.
- Documentation of ETL processes, business rules, notation of code, and scheduling.
- Significant experience in Health Informatics ideally in a Business Analyst/developer role.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of mandatory reporting requirements, NHS data standards and definitions.
- Good understanding of outputs/SUS/CDS processes etc.
- Good understanding of NHS performance monitoring systems (their uses and interdependencies/pitfalls.
- Experience of communicating complex issues and data concepts to a wide stakeholder group.
- Advanced knowledge and competent use of Patient Administration System and other HealthCare IT. systems.
- Competent in use of SQL to interrogate data sets.
- Experience developing ETLs.
- Broad range of skills covering multitude of BI tools/Power BI/Klik/Tableau/Excel etc.
- experience/exposure/significant contributor to managing projects including use of project plans, identifying risks, etc
- To be numerate and have good statistical understanding (modelling/analysis/interpretation/SPC)
