Voice Networks Operations - Voice Support Engineer
Remote with some travel to London

Voice Support Engineer

We are looking for a Voice Support Engineer to join an existing team as the transition from one provider to Nokia IMS within their Network operations covering all fixed line platforms, elements, systems and services.

Role

*Manage the migration of all TDM to SIP interconnects on our IMS platforms,
*Be engaged in the provisioning, testing, troubleshooting and validating new SIP interconnects with our InterconnecT partners
*Manage escalations and resolve issues in accordance to agreed SLAs, identifying root cause of problems and outlining appropriate solutions.
*Utilise KPIs, stats, and analysis flows to spot, track trends and areas of concern
*Create procedures such as troubleshooting guides, upgrade and migration processes

Experience

*Experience and knowledge working with the Nokia IMS switch, and architecture
*You should have good communication skills to work with other areas of the business
*Knowledgeable in voice protocols, including C7, SIP, H248 and Diameter
*Experience in Operational and NOC environments
*Knowledgeable in voice switch translation and UK dial plans
