We are currently working with a Major Lloyds of London Insurer. They are looking for a strong SQL Database Administrator to be responsible for the database administration of our clients SQL data warehouse. Must have Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
What you will do
- Responsible for the database administration of our clients SQL data warehouse
- Automate repeatable database tasks
- Ensure database backup processes are automated
- Develop processes for optimizing database security
- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards
What you require for the role
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Experience working with in the Lloyds of London Insurance Market
- Familiar with data warehouse builds and experience in working with large, complex data sets
- PowerShell and Unix Shell Scripting skills
- Familiar with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
