Kafka Developer required for a 6 month, remote based contract assignment.
In the role of Database Specialist/Kafka Services Developer you will join a team who are creating Central Log Management, with an overall purpose of collecting and processing logs and events from infrastructure and business systems and storing them in Elastic Search. The project is in its initial phase and requires a consultant with specialist knowledge to develop functional/non functional requirements, design and build accordingly the production ready prototype. The major focus will be on a data stream processing component.
The ideal candidate for the role of Kafka Services Developer should have:
- 2 years experience as a Kafka services Developer/Engineer.
- Experience implementing large scale (1M + events per second) data stream processing service on Kafka.
- Experience with defining functional and non-functional requirements for data stream processing services.
- Experience with Enterprise grade Kafka services/service offerings.
- Specialist knowledge of - ES (Elastic Stack), Kibana, Grafana and Prometheus.
- Fluent English skills (Essential)
