My client a leading and global organisation are looking to hire an experienced Data Programme Technology Lead/Manager to work on a large-scale data retention programme.
Reporting to the chief data officer, you will shape and design both a data remediation programme and design a set of improvements for our ongoing data and information management. The individual will also work closely with the CTOs of each capability and/or their primary capability data owners, ask key stakeholders.
As the Data Programme Lead for large scale programme, you will be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with one of their CTO's to pilot an approach to data management which could be rolled-out further
- Use this pilot to design a data and information remediation programme for BUSINESS, in partnership with the Chief Data Officer
- Determine the right process, technology and people considerations in order to deliver
- Coordinate all data remediation activity taking place across BUSINESS
- Establish team requirements and run the team
In order to be a good match for this position you will have experience of the following:
- Experience of delivering data remediation programmes (eg GDPR)
- Track record of shaping and leading teams to successful delivery of significant technology, data and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience of managing multi-faceted programmes and multiple projects, co-ordinating tasks and activities, managing to deadlines, anticipating challenges, difficulties and pressure points.
- Experience of identifying and mitigating delivery risks, as well as leading the resolution of issues/blockers.
- Experience in managing third party vendors and providers.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, best practice, governance models and processes.
