Java/Risk Developer - Finance
My Tier 1 Investment Banking client a looking for multiple Java Developers who have a strong background within Risk environments (Credit/Market Risk/Risk Management)
IR35 - Inside
6 month rolling contract
Remote for now and once everything is back to normal, you will be based in the City.
Tech needed; Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Docker/Kubernetes, TDD.
Profile Required
- Proactive self-starter who able to take initiative and roll up sleeves to get things done
- Ability to interact with senior management in both the Business and IT
- Experience from working in the Risk domain in Investment banking, either in Front Office or Market/Credit Risk with a good understanding of risk sensitivities as well as f2b processes
- Aptitude and interest for data analysis and visualisation
Technical Skills
- Strong Core Java Development skills
- Spring Boot
- Extensive experience and understanding of distributed systems, grid deployment and high performance/low latency computing requirements.
- Extensive experience of test driven development
- Maven
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating environment and Scripting experience
