Rate: up to £500 p/d - UMBRELLA ONLY
Location: Remote, with client site in Berkshire
Our client is looking for a Communications Lead to work on the delivery of Comms material in a fast moving and complex environment. The role will involve creating and executing communication plans for a Global ERP Programme. The communications plans will ensure employees are informed of changes impacting them and that end-users execute any actions required of them in a timely way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being accountable for the consistency, quality and accuracy of all of the communication materials relating to the program.
- Fully understanding and identifying the communication requirements of each project.
- Ensuring that the tone of the communications are culturally appropriate.
- Coordinating the timing of each communication to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Identifying audiences and the optimum distribution methods to reach them.
- Continually working to improve communication, including incorporating any pilot feedback.
- Ensuring the workstream's communications activities are fed into the overall integration communication plan;
- Ensuring all relevant sign-offs are acquire and that communications are legally compliant.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical communication skills. eg video production, script writing, print production, Intranet and social media, event management
- Ability to influence at all levels
- Collaborative behaviours
- Experience of working in a global, multi-cultural environment
- The ability to work with ambiguity and to set their own direction
- Creative thinking, with a can do attitude
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite
- Attention to detail
- Finance project experience would be advantageous
This is a hands on role which involves the planning, creation, and execution of Communications that utilise a variety of channels. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large scale transformation programmes with the ability to manage exec level stakeholders.
ERP implementation/transformation or Finance Transformation programme experience would be extremely beneficial.
