Description
I am currently looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join a market-leading FMCG business and take ownership of their sustainability programme. You will manage the communications plan for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the programme is effectively communicated across both audiences and the messaging is engaging & delivers against programme objectives. Please note that this role would normally be London based, however the client is prepared to consider applications of candidates who would be fully-remote throughout the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the programme communications plan for 2021, ensuring it drives understanding and engagement
- Work with key functions across the organisation to develop compelling key messages and a key narrative
- Work with both the external and internal communications team to develop effective communications campaigns
- Develop specific programme content and collateral across a range of mediums
- Drive programme engagement
- Scope and implement performance analysis measures to track communications effectiveness and engagement
Essential skills:
- A proven track record in Corporate Communications, covering programmes that span both internal and external audiences
- Experience of developing and implementing a corporate communications strategy attached to a programme of work (ideally covering a sustainability programme however this isn't essential)
- Strong skills in Public Relations and Media Relations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including towards director level colleagues
- Experience of leading effective campaigns that were successful in engaging audiences and delivering against programme initiatives
- Experience in a large complex organisation (ideally FMCG)
- Good exposure to owned media content (videos, bogs etc.)
