We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Operational Landscape Manager within the Service Management Team at this World Leading Energy Company.

The Technical Operational Landscape Manager will provide the team with in depth technical knowledge of the WAN landscape, providing operational support for the network and assist in the delivery of the day-to-day E2E WAN infrastructure services according to the agreed Service Levels and/or Operate Level Agreements. They ensure WAN services remain available, are delivered in a secure manner and perform appropriate oversight on any changes to the landscapes.
They must have a strong knowledge of IT Architecture concepts. They are the escalation point for operation-related issues within their landscapes.

About the Role
* Contact point for Operations queries
* Drives incident and problem resolution as part of a cross functional team.
* Member of Change Approval Boards reviews and approves change tickets.
* Drives Continuous Improvement by identifying systemic issues on infrastructure landscapes and associated structural improvements.
* Work with the Service Managers to collaborate with project teams to ensure new services and infrastructure are successfully transitioned to support.
* Provides the technical advice to Service Managers for discussion with stakeholders (internal and external) to help ensure company interests are well represented and protected from a technical perspective.
* Assists the Service Managers to coordinate disaster recovery plans and test execution.
* Balancing priorities and focusing on what matters most will ensure that Service Management Analyst focus is aligned with business need.
* Working in a virtual team across multiple time zones may require availability during early morning and/or late evening hours
* Managing time and work-life balance is critical

About You:
* 10+ years in technical environment
* Prior experience in an IT support environment responsible for WAN/LAN technologies
* Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methods and processes
* Knowledge in ITIL processes, incident, problem and change management
* Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
* Ability to operate in a global, virtual cross-cultural organization, working in different time zones
* Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
* Extensive experience in supporting complex Global or multi-country Wide Area Networks (Routers, MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity etc).
* Extensive knowledge of working with BGP/OSPF routing protocols, QOS/COS settings, IPsec and GRE design.
* Strong technical skills related to configuration of WAN Routers (Cisco strongly preferred)
* Self-starter with good analysis and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand complex services across a broad scope.
* Strong skills in working with Microsoft Office Tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills, fluent in English both conversational and in writing
* Experience in support processes, specifically ITIL
* Experience of working in a global virtual team environment in a multinational Enterprise
* Experienced in monitoring tools
* Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority

Preferred Skills
* Familiar with using data to provide insights and thereby appropriate action when improving operational services. Familiar with tools such as Power BI or Splunk.
* Experience with ServiceNow data mining, report and dashboard creation
* Certified network professional eg CCNA
* Coding or Scripting experience Perl, python, jscript,C++, PowerShell a plus
