Java Developer (Dutch speaking)
For one of my leading financial clients, based from their offices in Antwerp I am urgently looking for a fluent speaking Java Developer.

Ideally, you will be immediately available or have no more than a 1 month notice period and essentially you must already be based in Belgium (due to travel restrictions etc)
You implement the code changes or param changes as designed via the technical analyst, making use of the existing framework and according to best practices.
- As a Java developer, you define & implement your unit & component (integration) tests in order to safeguard the code quality of your changes.
- Close collaboration with the application owner, the application architect, the technical analysist and the system testing team in order to realize the best solutions within the predefined deadlines..
- Strictly follow the design and development guidelines.
- Writing and documenting maintainable components and code.
- Thinking along and proposing improvements to existing and new solutions.
PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE
- Plan-based, independent and result-oriented.
- Analytically strong, accurate and problem-solving.
- Communicative and a real team player. Customer focus is very important to you.
- A hands-on mentality.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Experience in an integration environment is a plus.
- You can easily collaborate with external parties who work onsite or offshore.
Experience
- Professional bachelor in IT or equivalent through experience.
- At least 3-5 years of development experience in Java.
- Knowledge:
o Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, SonarCube, Bean LifeCycle
o Experience in SQL-queries
o Knowledge of SOAP, WSDL, XSD, XML
