Description

My client, a leading government department are seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer which significant experience of Microsoft Exchange Server and the complete Office 365 (O365) product suite. This experience must be from within an enterprise sized environment. Please only apply for this position if you re able to demonstrate significant support of both an Exchange and Office 365 environment.

As a 2nd line infrastructure Support Engineer you will have experience of the following:

  • Experience of large-scale email migrations to Exchange Online
  • Experience of supporting email infrastructure in a hybrid environment
  • Experience of implementing and supporting MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business
  • Demonstrable skills in process automation and Scripting using PowerShell

And as a desirable you will have experience of the following:

  • Mobile device, application and data management using Microsoft Intune
  • Experience of implementing email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Experience of administering email filtering systems (ClearSwift Secure Email Gateway is desirable)

This will initially be a 3-month contract, remote based with the potential occasional travel to Leeds in the future. The position sits within IR35.
