Senior Java/C++/FIX Developer - Connectivity/Market Access sought by leading financial services organisation based in the city of London/remote.

You'll be joining a small team tasked with the responsibility of developing connectivity software that is Real Time, adaptive, resilient and in tune to changes to the network. The system is developed in Java & C++. You will take ownership of the full software development cycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, development, support and enhancement of client facing and outbound connectivity services
- Contribute to the design and improvement of the automation testing framework
- Serve as third tier support for production issues
- Effectively work with Product Support and Product teams
- Participate actively in process improvement projects
Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience within electronic trading or electronic trading system provider, preferably specializing in connectivity solutions
- 5+ years of experience programming in Java and C++ on Linux platform
- FIX Protocol expertise required
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Test-writing or development experience using Python, or Java
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows-based Servers
- Flexibility to work with a variety of QA testing tools and languages and willingness to evaluate and experiment with new tools when needed in projects
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
