Description

Role: Infrastructure Support Analyst (Windows L2)
Languages: English and German
Location: Bucharest, Romania
Duration: 6 month (rolling contract)
Start Date: ASAP

We have a client who is one of the fastest growing IT Services Company. Their services span from application
management outsourcing, packaged application services, verification and testing, remote infrastructure management,
product development and support. We are looking for an onsite Bucharest based freelance Level 2 Infrastructure
Support Analyst with 3-5 years’ experience to join their team ASAP.

You will be:
• Prioritizing and escalating with L3 team member to ensure timely resolution
• Server build and decommission of Windows servers
• Windows Server backup and restoration. File/Folder restoration
• Working on Server (CPU, Memory, Low disk space, Cluster failed) alerts
• Working with Hardware team to fix issues with Windows server hardware
• Troubleshooting and fix issues with monthly MS Security patches
• Performing analysis of repeated incidents and come up solutions that help in preventing such incidents
• Contributing to automation by analyzing repeated tasks and transforming to automated tasks there by
reducing manual effort
• Mentoring of L1 team members on best practices, technical solutions and scripting

Ideal Skills/Attributes:
• Maintain Windows 2008 R and upgrades, patches
• Maintain and Administer AD (Windows 2008R2)
• Maintain and Administer Microsoft Cluster solutions
• Working knowledge on SSCM and SCOM
• Understanding of IBM TSM/EMC Networker tool set
• Knowledge of maintaining Antivirus management servers
• Troubleshooting skills with Windows Servers, SCCM
• Understanding of VMWare virtualization technologies
• Understanding of Storage technologies
• scripting knowledge using PowerShell, CLI
• Understanding of VMWare virtualization technologies
• Understanding of Storage technologies
• Good Team Player, good Attitude, proactive problem solving and strong communication skills
• ITIL Process Awareness (Incident , Change and Problem Management)
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the
situation demands
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
