Our Local Authority Client are looking for an Agile Business Analyst

This role is part of the Digital Transformation work programmes, Digital & IT are implementing digital services on a new Customer Platform system. There is a requirement for services to be rolled out quickly and there is a need to help implement and embed agile ways of working within the team. This role will focus specifically on:

  • Analysing current working practices within the analysis phases of the project and how these outputs are exposed and shared with the wider project;

  • Recommending improvements to current practices and any training required to support these improvements.

  • Deliver training and mentoring to other more junior business analysts within the team

  • Lead analysis phases within the project to ensure embedding of improvements

The consultant is expected to have both excellent business analysis experience and agile delivery experience.

You must have excellent communication skills - both oral and written - and an ability to communicate with all levels and translate complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.

In addition, experience of working within a Local Authority and an understanding of the political and governance processes within local government projects is desirable.

The work will be remote working based on prevailing Covid-19 guidance and the appointments will be 6 months. The Consultants will provide their own hardware for accessing the corporate systems and desktop.
