Data Analyst (Investments)
6 Month contract
£450 - through an umbrella company
South West based.
Data Analyst required to contribute towards our clients Investment Divisions Data projects from initiation through to completion. The role manages the development of the Investment Data estate and provides input into improving existing controls and processes including the data warehouse and associated surround systems.
- Experience of interpreting & translating requirements into deliverable tasks
- Comfortable in understanding Excel formula/VBA based transformations and identifying the underlying business logic
- A practical knowledge of SQL
- Experience in using BI tools, particularly PowerBI.
- Understanding of the project life cycle & common project methodologies, agile in particular
- Awareness of ETL/ELT processes
- Ability to map data flows across multiple systems & highlight integration challenges
