Description
Our client are currently seeking a DV Security Cleared Network Engineer to work on a contract basis (inside IR35) for an initial 6 month period in the South West of England.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in Networks with at least five years of experience and the ability to work at all levels from installation through to design and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Resolves complex issues related to the coordination, control, design, support, and operation of specialized components of a network whether data, voice or video such as Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and voice systems.
- Plans, configures, tests, maintains, troubleshoots and tunes complex network infrastructure such as Routers, Switches, gateways, Firewall systems, multi-function Switches, end offices, signalling transfer points, private branch exchange, voice mail, call management system and network security devices.
- Designs, implements and maintains more complex LAN, WAN or Voice Systems in accordance with specified requirements.
- Provides consultation, support and guidance to organizations and clients.
- May develop and conduct training as needed.
- Participates in discussions regarding project decisions/direction at an executive level.
- Manages client expectations and balances the needs of organization and client to ensure satisfaction.
- Participates in proposal efforts and sales calls to ensure product meets client specifications.
