Description
Technical Architect/Tech Lead with strong E-commerce experience is required for an initial 3-month contract with a major retail client. This is part of a digital transformation and they will be looking at the current landscape and looking to move to a new E-commerce platform.
This role is remote and is Inside IR35
Experience:
- Must have eCommerce platform background across any industry vertical, preferably retail
- Must have good knowledge of product management, pricing, promotions within the eCommerce domain.
- Should have worked across more than one E-commerce platform to be able to draw strengths/weaknesses across different platform options
- Good insights on modern platforms like CommerceTools, ElasticPath etc
- Understanding the Client's current architecture, analyse gaps and defining the target architecture for the new solution.
- Need to be able to do mid-level sizing (efforts & costing) of the E-commerce platform rollout with a roadmap
- Should have knowledge of cloud to be able to size infrastructure costs for the new solution
- Engage with platform vendors to discuss the needs and get indicative pricing for the cost model
- Preferable if he/she has experience in evaluating eCommerce platforms in the past
- Exposure to platforms such as ATG and Hybris
