We are partnered with a global financial services organisation based in London who are going through an exciting transformation from LIBOR to RFR migration.
This project is suited to a LIBOR/RFR Data FPML subject matter expert not a Business Analyst with a general Financial Services background.
The project work is structured into functional deliverables each covering a range of Use Cases. This role will focus on the changes to the Data Service for Trade Data across several functional deliverables and determine how trade data from operational systems is provided to customers via the established Data Service.
Main responsibilities:
- Working extensively with the LIBOR to Risk Free Rates migration
- Defining extensions to the existing APIs of the Data Service covering trade data and for determining the initial structure, mappings and transformations of new APIs of the Data Service where required.
- Facilitate/participate in mapping, validating and signing-off extensions and changes of the FpML-based model for trade data as well as the inbound and outbound interfaces
- Work with business stakeholders to translate additional business requirements into changes to existing APIs or new APIs and transition them to BAU or 3rd parties
- Requirements gathering and management through stakeholder workshop facilitation, questionnaires and interviews
- Agile methodologies including Use Case analysis, Features/Epics/User Stories, Behaviour Driven Development.
- Backlog construction and management of features and stories, prioritisation with stakeholders both business and IT, including architects and developers
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers
Essential criteria:
- FpML data service experience or FIX, ISO etc
- LIBOR and/or RFR experience
- Agile delivery methodology
- Financial Services industry particularly Investment Banking
