Platform Engineer - DevOps
Whitehall Resources require a DevOps Platform Engineer to work with a key client based in Essex, working remotely for now.
*Please note that this role will be inside IR35 from April 2021*
This role requires a professional who is well experienced and knowledgeable in cloud technology especially AWS. They must be innovative, competent and comfortable in challenging status quo.
The suitable candidate must be highly proficient in the use of:
* Jenkins
* Varnish
* Artifactory
* Swarm
* Docker
* Harshicorp vault
* Terraform (0.11 and 0.12)
* AWS (Most of AWS including ECS,EKS)
* Python (2 and 3)
* Groovy (for jenkinsfiles)
* Jenkins scripted and declarative pipelines
* Ansible (2.2 and 2.8)
* Ansible Vault
* Linux tools
Mandatory Technical Skills:
* Above are mandatory (Please note the list of technologies will increase based on client needs)
* Must have Programming experience
Desirable Technical Skills:
* Client relational skill, Object Oriented programming, DDD, TDD, EDA
Mandatory Business Skills:
* Communication; Expectation setting, client relations.
Desirable Business Skills:
* Drive the delivery of user/training and customer communications on Release Management.
* Assist with the implementation planning of releases, including the ability to deploy and work extended hours during live implementation.
